twenty years ago today there was a really big earthquake in my hometown.
it was a terrifying experience that i won't ever forget.
i learned fast.
how fifteen seconds can feel like forever.
how the things you are sure won't ever fall down sometimes do fall down.
how impossibly delicate this life is.
